Opus Care Homes provide 24-hour nursing, residential, dementia and respite care
on your Health
Our care homes provide nursing care, residential care as well as a dedicated dementia community for those requiring dementia care. Respite and convalescent care, allowing family members and carers to take a well-earned break, are available as are short-term trial stays.
We offer the following types of care dependent on your health, wellbeing and care needs:
Opus nursing care is available for those who require more intensive 24-hour care and assistance from both Registered Nurses and care assistants, as well as other support staff. Our Registered Nurses are qualified to provide more specialised care, supported by our local GP services, for example for those living with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease or perhaps recovering from a stroke or in need of end of life care. Compassionate and responsive, our nurses aim to enhance independence, ensure comfort and support recovery.
Opus offer a separate community within the care home to provide professional, high-quality care for those living with dementia. It is designed and furnished to aid, stimulate and provide reassurance for those living with the condition. We offer events and activities tailored to residents living with dementia as well as one-to-one support where this is more appropriate. All staff working within the dementia community have received additional dementia-specific training.
Residential Care is for people who are looking for 24-hour support but do not require higher level nurse-led care. It is designed for those who are older or frail and perhaps need assistance with personal care, such as washing, dressing and support with medication, or want to make the most of the companionship and social opportunities provided. Our residential care homes provide a safe, healthy and happy environment where life can be enjoyed to the full with the reassurance of knowing staff are available around the clock.
